Oatmeal Banana Cookies

I found this recipe when Connor was very little, and they quickly became a staple here. Although they look and taste like cookies, they're completely healthy. Just 2 ingredients- oatmeal and bananas. You can then add any additions that seem tasty to you: nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit, the list goes on.

If you're nursing, oatmeal is really good for your supply, and you can also add to the effect by throwing in a few tablespoons of ground flax seed meal (also good for supply).

Take 2 bananas and mash them in a bowl. Add 1 cup of quick oats. Add your mix ins (although they're optional). Drop onto a greased cookie sheet. I usually do a dash of cinnamon, dash of salt, and a few chocolate chips.

Bake at 350 until set (10-15 minutes).
